This is a black-and-white aluminum print capturing the St Johns Bridge in Portland, Oregon. It is located North of Downtown Portland, and spans the Willamette River. I created the image on a warm late Spring day in 2009 using Konica IR 750 infrared film, and has been a longstanding favorite of mine. The infrared process paints foliage that radiates heat as pure white while solid objects remain black. I have always liked the look of infrared, and am pleased to present it to you here.
Mounted on aluminum, the print offers a modern, archival surface that enhances contrast and provides a luminous, durable presentation—ideal for collectors who appreciate both historical subject matter and contemporary printmaking.
Archival print on aluminum with a float frame attached to the back. It is ready to be hung on arrival.
Shipping is included in the price.
