This is a black-and-white aluminum print capturing the Pioneer Chruch in Sellwood, Oregon. It is located south of Portland along the Willamette River. I created the image on a warm early Spring day in 1999 using Konica IR 750 infrared film, and has been a longstanding favorite of mine. The infrared process lends a dreamlike quality that complements the church’s straightforward architecture. I chose the camera angle specifically to accentuate the cloud and the still bare tree to the right.
Mounted on aluminum, the print offers a modern, archival surface that enhances contrast and provides a luminous, durable presentation—ideal for collectors who appreciate both historical subject matter and contemporary printmaking.
Archival print on aluminum with a float frame attached to the back. It is ready to be hung on arrival.
Shipping is included in the price.
