The St Johns Bridge is Portland’s best bridge. Built in the late 1930’s when architecture meant more than putting blocks on top of each other, the pillars resemble the inside of a cathedral if you look at them from under the bridge, and green steel structure gracefully spans the Willamette River. I took this picture using a 1939 LF Deardorff 8×10 film camera. The camera and bridge are of the same vintage.
Printed on aluminum. Archival to 200 years.
Each aluminum print comes with a float frame attached to the back, so it can be hung on the wall immediately after removing it from the shipping box.
