Rowena, Oregon is located between Mosier and The Dalles in the Eastern Columbia Gorge. There the eastern segment of the Historic Columbia River Highway winds down from Rowena Crest in a series of impressive curves among spiny white oaks and springtime wildflowers. In Autumn the grasses are golden, and the trees turn orange and then brown as October becomes November.
I used infrared for this picture, which sees the world in a different part of the light spectrum than we do. On hot days this turns foliage white, while water and solid objects like trees become darker.
Printed on aluminum, which is archival to 200 years.
Each aluminum print comes with a float frame on the back, so you do not need to frame it, just unbox it, and hang it on the wall. Shipping is included in the price.
